We have conducted many topographic surveys collecting profile and structure details for hydraulic modelling of rivers for flood risk mapping, and realised that we use a high proportion of manual input, which has become time-consuming and too costly. Providing Andrew with detailed lists of our field data collecting procedures and our data output requirements has enabled him to write an extremely versatile and highly efficient suite of AutoCAD macros that has now reduced our processing time by a significant amount. We can now output our unique final plans, sections, structure elevations and long profiles complete with iSIS format data files on large projects within hours rather than weeks.

Andrew kept us updated continuously throughout the development period with new routines to test on a daily basis so that when complete we knew exactly how the software was built.
